QC Chemist I

Overview Our client, a specialty chemical company providing intermediates used in healthcare and personal care products, is hiring a QC Chemist to join their team! 2nd and 3rd shifts available! Schedule 2nd shift (2:30p-11p) and 3rd shift available (10:30p-7a) Location St. Louis, MO Type of Job Temp to hire Responsibilities Perform analytical testing using wet chemistry techniques: titrations, spectrophotometry, ph/conductivity, distillation Test raw products, intermediates, and finished goods Perform microbiological testing on products in all stages of the process Collect, interpret, and analyze analytical data Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred, Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field required 2 years of chemistry experience with a manufacturing company 2 years of wet chemistry experience Knowledge of method development and method validation We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
