Bar Exam Proctor (Temporary) Washington State Bar Association. Seattle, Washington, United States About this Position We are an arm of the Washington State Supreme Court and administer the Bar Exam and other regulatory, compliance, and membership services for licensed legal professionals in Washington State. Responsibilities Proctor the Washington State Bar Exam on July 28 and 29, 2026. Attend mandatory orientation/training on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 1:00–3:30 p.m. Work the exam schedule: Tuesdays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Stand for long periods of time and lift up to 15 pounds with assistance and/or equipment. Move up and down aisles while collecting papers and viewing computer screens. Work more than 8 hours a day for one or more consecutive days. Have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from the event location. Qualifications At least 18 years old. High school graduate. Communicate effectively and courteously. Proficient in English. Follow directions accurately. Work with people under stressful conditions in a calm, courteous, and professional manner. Pass a WSBA New Hire Background Check. Provide current and valid identification at hire. Eligible and approved to work in the US (WSBA is a USCIS employer). Proctors will be paid a minimum of $365.00 for attending orientation and proctoring the exam days. Application deadline: June 5, 2026. Email [email protected] with any additional questions.
