POSITION AVAILABLE: Long-Term Substitute - ELA (Beginning Approximately 8/10/26)

LOCATION:Maumee High School

JOB STATUS:Full-Time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Valid driver's license.Appropriate State of Ohio teaching certificate/licenseDemonstrates a sincere desire to aid all students.Perform the essential job duties, with or without accommodations.Available NTE, PPST, or Praxis II scores.

JOB DESCRIPTION:See attached (Classroom Teacher - Locator Index 5.01)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:To provide effective instruction for the students assigned to him/her.To regularly monitor student progress and to provide intervention (remedial and/or enrichment) as needed.To communicate effectively with parents.To establish a positive rapport with students to motivate and encourage their best efforts.To function as a contributing member of the academic team.

COMPENSATION:$125/day
