The candidates should focus on immune or infectious agent interactions with the central or peripheral nervous system in the context of behavior. Candidates should have an MD/PhD or PhD in immunology, virology, or microbiology with interest in immune-nervous system approaches, documented evidence of high-quality, impactful research, and a strong commitment to education and collaborative research at a major university. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program and participate in graduate and medical student education. Faculty will be provided with a competitive salary and start-up-package. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications.
