OverviewDSI is a sales enablement company with an immediate career opportunity for a motivated individual to fill one of our key roles as an Area Sales Manager for our Door to Door (D2D) sales channel.Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yrThis range is provided by DSI. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.ResponsibilitiesMeet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and accurately project future sales forecastConduct business meetings with dealers to discuss evolving needs, assess the quality of the company\'s relationship with the dealer, and drive additional productionRecommend service, product, and process enhancements to improve the sales potential for both dealers and the companyKeep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand, and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mixConduct weekly meetings with sales directors to develop and update strategic business plans for their dealersEnsure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and rewardsDevelop and maintain relationships between different channels and cross-functionallyObserve and interact with customers and D2D representatives in the fieldPartner with the sales team to qualify, recruit, and launch new dealers with D2D, event, or strategic marketing tactics that can produce scalable volumeAssist the sales team with launching new dealers and helping them to become successful within the first 90 daysRequirementsThree or more years of professional-level sales experience; at least two of which are in a sales management role, is preferredCrisis management, resourceful, and solution-oriented abilitiesExcellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers, and clients at all levelsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environmentBachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business is preferredAbility to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and adjust to different weather conditionsAvailability to travel 70% of the timeBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance are available on the first day of the month following your first day of employment - no extended waiting period!401k Plan with employer matchingPaid vacation, personal/sick days, and bereavement timeDSI Bucks Employee Profit Sharing Program50% AT&T wireless discountPaid trainingAdvancement opportunities, we prefer to promote from within!Travel and LocationTravel is required 70% of the time.
