Phlebotomist

Join us in our mission to improve health. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 500 S Anaheim Hills Rd Suite 102, Anaheim, CA 92807. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:45 am – 3:45 pm, with rotating Saturday. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state‐issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Prior or current experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may meet the requirement. Three months or more phlebotomy experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Able to pass a standardized color‐blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. Benefits: Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, tuition reimbursement and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
