Certified Welder II The Certified Welder II is a highly skilled welder capable of performing multi-process welding in all positions while maintaining AWS and AISC quality standards. This position supports complex fabrication projects and mentors less experienced welders. Daily Responsibilities Perform MIG, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW Weld in all positions to AWS D1.1. D1.5 standards. (1G, 2G, 3G, 6G) Read and interpret complex fabrication drawings. Assist with weld troubleshooting and defect reduction. Ability to successfully carbon arc gouge Train and mentor Production Welders. Maintain welding certifications and qualification records. Support quality inspections and corrective actions. Successful candidates will have: AWS D1.1 Certified Welder. Completion of AISC Welding Training (WD-01 through WD-10). Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes. Ability to pass internal weld qualification testing.
