PrideStaff is hiring ISO Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist. The objective is to transition the current Quality Management System (QMS) from an outdated framework into a modernized, compliant system that drives Continuous Improvement and Operational Efficiency. Phase 1: Discovery & Gap Analysis (Months 1-3)
  • System Audit: Perform a comprehensive audit against the ISO 9001:2015 standard to identify non-conformities.
  • Stakeholder Interviews: Engage with department heads to identify where current documentation deviates from actual floor practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Pinpoint vulnerabilities within the system using risk-based thinking.
Phase 2: Documentation & Process Overhaul (Months 4-9)
  • Streamlining: Replace obsolete manuals with lean Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and visual Work Instructions.
  • CAPA Integration: Formalize the Corrective and Preventive Action process to address root causes rather than symptoms.
  • Document Control: Establish a robust system for revision history and accessibility.
Phase 3: Culture & Internal Auditing (Months 10-14)
  • Staff Mentorship: Train employees on ISO requirements and the "why" behind process changes.
  • Internal Audit Cycles: Execute regular "mock audits" to maintain a state of permanent audit readiness.
  • Management Review: Facilitate data-driven reviews with the Operations Manager to evaluate system performance.
Phase 4: Recertification (Months 15-18)
  • Registrar Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Official Audits: Lead the organization through Stage 1 and Stage 2 recertification audits.
  • Sustainability: Finalize a maintenance schedule to ensure the system remains compliant long after the project ends.
Required Methodology & Tools To resolve system gaps as outlined in the job description, the Specialist will utilize: ToolPurpose Root Cause Analysis Utilizing 5 Whys or Fishbone Diagrams to prevent recurrence of issues. PDCA Cycle The "Plan-Do-Check-Act" framework for continuous system evolution. Risk-Based Thinking Identifying potential failures before they impact the customer. Lean/Six Sigma (Preferred) Using Green or Black Belt methodologies to reduce waste in documentation. Export to Sheets Position Logistics & Requirements
  • Reports to: Operations Manager
  • Pay: $20-$30/hr (DOE)
  • Schedule: 20-30 hours/week (Hybrid)
  • On-site Requirement: Minimum 16 hours per week in Walled Lake, MI.
  • Qualifications: 2-5 years of QMS experience; deep knowledge of the 2015 standard; internal auditing proficiency.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $30.00
