Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and active DC RN licensure for a 13-week travel assignment. Job Details • Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting, • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week), • Cerner EMR experience required, • 13-week contract, Job Requirements • Active RN license in DC required (no pending licenses), • Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI, • BSN highly desired; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required, • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital required, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, • Cerner EMR experience required, • Active US Social Security Number required for consideration, • Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer, • Date of birth required for consideration, Additional Information • Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation completed within established timeframes, • Delivers age-appropriate care across the life span by applying knowledge of growth and development, • Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position, • Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
