Job Description
We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher to join our team and provide students in grades 3-8 with an engaging and inspiring learning experience. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of mathematics, the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching classes, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents. The Teacher should have experience with twice exceptional students, and/or students with ASD-1 (formerly Asperger's) or other social communication differences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the needs of all students.
- Assess student learning and progress through tests, quizzes, and other methods.
- Provide feedback to students on their performance.
- Create a positive learning environment for students.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills in the classroom.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance instruction.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to develop curriculum.
