Responsibilities include: Preparing conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, bid packages, and proposals Evaluating drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing Developing scopes of work and managing competitive bidding processes Working closely with project managers, superintendents, executives, architects, and clients Providing value engineering solutions that improve project outcomes and cost efficiency Tracking local labor trends, material pricing, and market conditions Maintaining and expanding relationships with Middle Tennessee subcontractors and vendors Supporting continuous improvement of estimating systems, databases, and historical cost records What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems Experience working within the Middle Tennessee construction market Established relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers highly preferred Proficiency with Excel and estimating software platforms Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Performance-based bonus opportunities 401(k) with company match Health insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life insurance Paid time off and holidays Long‐term career growth opportunities If you're looking for a position where your market knowledge, relationships, and construction expertise directly impact project success, we'd love to speak with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
