CPA Accounting Manager

CPA Accounting Manager, this fully remote, client-facing position is responsible for managing client relationships and delivering comprehensive accounting services for a portfolio of consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, ensuring quality and timeliness in financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for assigned CPG clients, overseeing the entire monthly close cycle and ensuring deliverables are accurate and timely Manage trade promotion accruals, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition specific to multi-channel CPG businesses Direct the work of Associates and Senior Associates, providing feedback and managing client onboarding and service development Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA is strongly preferred 4-7 years of accounting experience with direct ownership of month-end close, preferably in public accounting or outsourced accounting Hands-on experience with CPG accounting, including trade promotion and inventory valuation Familiarity with CPG brands and their accounting complexities across various sales channels Strong command of GAAP and experience in startup or growth-stage CPG contexts
