Online Science Instructor

Seeking mission-driven educators, the part-time contract Online Science Instructor will deliver engaging online courses in Environmental Science and General Biology, fostering student success and promoting scientific reasoning in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Teach 11-week live online courses using student-centered instructional strategies Design and facilitate inquiry-driven lab experiences in a fully online format Provide timely feedback and support to students while collaborating with peers to enhance instructional practices Required qualifications Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field At least 3 years of college-level science teaching experience Demonstrated ability to design meaningful online lab experiences Strong content knowledge in environmental science and/or biology at the introductory college level Passion for equity and supporting diverse student backgrounds
