The CFOO will be a key partner to the Executive Director and senior leadership team, overseeing finance, operations, and organizational infrastructure. This includes leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ensuring the organization's financial strength and compliance with nonprofit regulations. The successful candidate will be adept at translating complex financial concepts into sustainable systems that support the global mission, and will be instrumental in guiding the organization through potential governance changes and institutional evolution. Key responsibilities for the CFOO at the company include providing strategic financial and operational analysis, supporting decision-making across programs, and helping to shape organizational strategy. The role demands a leader with significant senior-level experience in finance and operations within a mission-driven organization, particularly one that is at a growth or transition stage. The CFOO will also be responsible for establishing strong internal controls, implementing enterprise systems, and ensuring the effectiveness of financial and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in US nonprofit finance, budgeting, and GAAP accounting standards, and will be adept at working with boards, finance committees, and executive leadership teams. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for advanced credentials such as an MBA or CPA.
