PRIDE We believe in who we are and what we do, and we take ownership of our work. The Corrections Registered Nurse works under the direction of the Health Administrator. Duties include but are not limited to: Assumes the duties of the Health Administrator in his/her absence Completes intake physicals on all incoming inmates within fourteen days Conducts nursing supervisor meetings as needed Conducts and/or assists with annual TB testing Reviews the detailed nursing reports from the previous evening in the absences of the Health Administrator Conducts random chart reviews of all inmate charts when indicated Makes appropriate referrals regarding health care issues to other health care professionals Supervises and assists with administration of emergency care in the operation of suction and oxygen equipment Monitors holding cell records to insure daily physical observations are conducted Completes other such duties as the Health Administrator assigns, as needed Has completed an approved Registered Nursing program in Tennessee or comparable out-of-state program Have and maintain good moral character as determined by an investigation conducted by the agency along with passing all mental and health evaluations and background screenings Not have been convicted, pled guilty, or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge #J-18808-Ljbffr
